Senator-elect Elizabeth Warren's 2012 campaign stayed away from the social image-sharing platform Pinterest because the campaign's new media director feared that the platform could be shut down by copyright infringement claims.
This is an intelligent choice on the part of Lauren Miller, media director for Elizabeth Warren. I have never found Pinterest to be "interactive", like say, email, or Facebook, but rather a place quite like an unused closet for people to stash their 'pretties'. Most pins, once pinned, go to the bottom of the pile and collect dust. Not interactive.
